Muddin'

My local mud flats.
Still learning the ways of the carp. It can seem futile at times.

The mud flats are nice and shallow. See the fin out there.

  2. The southeast corner of Lake MacBride. It's always full of carp.

  5. Are you wading to those carp or fishing from the boat? I need to find something like that closer to home up here. Keep up the warm water work, I dig it.

  6. Hey WFF – Mostly wadding to them. It's nice not to have to lug the yak. I have a great spot on the local lake but the mudd is deep enough that the yak is nice to cover some ground. I basically float the yak into position and get out -- using the yak to move around the flats. Your recent carp postings had some nice tips for carpin'. Those trip reports were awesome.
